Rainbeau @ Shark Pig Weddings

Ok, who are you?

Rainbeau is lead director & editor at Shark Pig Weddings.

Since 2014 she has been making wedding videos for Shark Pig couples and is incredibly grateful for each and every one of them. Weddings have brought her up & down California, all over the USA, and as far as Australia, Northern Africa, Central America, and the beautiful land that is Italy. And through these amazing weddings, she's met people she would have never had the chance to meet otherwise.

Rainbeau spent her childhood in a small seaside town in New England, making videos in her backyard, the local cemetery, and her neighbor's pool. Now she’s based in Los Angeles, still making videos but the locations have been upgraded.

Rainbeau has a diverse visual art background, with experience in live broadcast television, print photojournalism, and commercial lifestyle advertisement. But making family heirlooms in the form of wedding videos is where her heart lies.

You can find her at home in the quiet neighborhood of Eagle Rock, diving into her latest hobby or a new book, studying Italian, on a sunset hike or traveling (probably for a wedding).

Please address chain letters, wedding inquiries, and other electronic mail to rainbeau@sharkpig.com.

Please philosophize wedding videos.
Happily! I want your video to transport its viewer right to your wedding day, and to experience how it felt to be there. I hope you’ll watch your video and be transported back to that special day for years and years to come. Most of my couples watch their video on their anniversary each year, and it’s the biggest compliment.

In my work I try to keep the original feeling & artistry that initially made Shark Pig what it is. Cheesy videos with the trend of the moment that won't stand the test of time isn't something in which I’m interested.
What should I expect the day of?

Above all else, I’ll be a calm, friendly face tagging along and there to support you on your wedding day. I don’t want you to feel like you need to perform or act for the camera. Just be yourself and enjoy the magic of the day.

I (and my associate if the day calls for one) will be dressed similar to your wedding guests. We try to keep a low profile, and our equipment footprint small: no crazy jibs or cranes. We aim to blend in and capture things as they naturally unfold. Getting footage for your videos never takes precedent over your guests experience of the day.

Where are you based? Do you travel?
Los Angeles, and YES! There are few things in the world I enjoy more than traveling. Wherever you’re getting married, I would love to be there! While I don’t charge a fee for traveling or travel days, I do have to include the hard costs of travel in your package price. Let’s chat!

Do you do photography too?
I love making photos, but no I can’t photograph your wedding while simultaneously filming it. I am but a mere human with one brain and two hands. I will happily work as a team with your photographer!
